Armor diversity too low (all look alike)
I like this game a lot, but the lack of armor diversity is a surprising oversight. It takes away the drive to search.

That is because they want you to buy one of the many income currencies for real cash, so you can use the MTX shop
Crappy practice.
You have ...

a) Transmog, so every armor can look like your favourite one - and there are very different armor - maybe you have to search a bit?
b) you only need 2 armor models for Naoe: The black Asassines Creed armor or the white one (Ezio alike sytle). Both best looking and always the transmog to-go for me (atm I like the black one more)

Indeed.
But they will continue to do this practice when people pay for their game.
The only way to stop it, is to vote with your wallet.

That is evening wear, my friend! During the day, you do not want to be seen LOOKING like a ninja, do you? For day time and around town you need something that says "harmless peasant" perhaps with a farmer hat to ward off the sun AND prying eyes! It's also important to accessorize! The kusarigama and tanto (dagger) are farmer weapons. Lose the katana!
I find the lack or amour variety in this game lamentable... you only get a few archetypes and each archetype comes in some colour variation, this game needs more armour archetypes. The Helix armours, as usual, look absolute craptastic and super unimmersive if you ask me, why does Ubi still insist on giving these things these craptastic vfx and no toggle to switch them off? I got the project armour for Naoe earlier this week and it looks utterly stupid with its neon effects.

That being said, I like some of the armours at least. They look good, like the Onna-Musha or the Noh costumes. And at least you get easy to use transmog for everything. But for the love of everything give us a toggle for costume/gear vfx! I would use that one sword I got from the exchange as transmog but it has this insufferable visual fx for the blade. Rendering it useless for me.

Agreed. One of the things I love most about open world games is seeing my char walk around in different gear. That really keeps u going. The Witcher 3 and Ghost of Tsushima did a good job.
In this game, EVERYTHING is the same with some color differences. Really bad practice and messes up a lot of admiration I had for this game.
This will even keep me from buying Assasin's Creed again.
