Lift Gender-Locked Weapon
Bro, do you think my Yasuke can't fight with Tanto-only just because he is a male! (vice-versa) & do you think my Naoe can't lift a kanabo to thrash her enemies?

1. Gender physical capability? - Oh really? Tanto is so heavy for Yasuke that he can't even lift it nor use it? and long katana is tooooooo heavy for Naoe to slice thru her enemies? (Let me give you example of real life: Mihawk beat Zoro with a knife (I am witness of this battle); John Wick kill three (3) men in a bar with a pencil (I am in the bar). Yamato using Kanabo fighting Kaidou! (Yeah, my vacation is ruined) Millie Thompson with her massive gun! (I almost got shot)

2. Gameplay - Ooh, what do you mean Yasuke can't be stealthy? Are you undermining his capabilities just because he is larger? Bro literally function well at NIGHT! that I can't even see him!

I thought Ubisoft has no limitation. What stopping you from not unleashing your true potential.

Why would you want the same weapons for both. Redundancy at the highest

They aren't gender locked. They are class locked. Some weapons are for Samurai, some weapons are for Shinobi. Did you see gender icons on the weapon icons? Because I am seeing class.

Why do you bring gender into everything?

They're probably some easily influenced and easily outraged Andrew Tate / Asmongold personality-watching type who like to consume Youtube content from these 'drama farmers' that infest the platform. It helps them feel validated and because they're only happy when they're irrationally angry at nothing. 🙂

These threads are just getting more and more lame and desperate.

He can! If you have not yet stalked your prey with Yasuke crawling through the grass to stand up and loudly (and messily) murder someone with a brutal assassination while shouting "I am Yasuke!"... my friend, you have not yet PLAYED this game!

And that doesn't even get into his sniper skills. Holy crap!

I do not understand why people are outraged about this post.... it is a legitimate concern and whether or not weapons are class or gender restricted is absolutely pointless to bicker about when only Yasuke can access Samurai gear and only Naoe has access to the Assassin gear, which means these things ARE gender/character/class locked, but locked they are.

Yasuke is already a mostly pointless character from a gameplay perspective, because Naoe can become a monster in open melee combat and kill everything and she's the only one who can fully explore the open world. It would be nice if she had access to a bow, but it's not 100% required maybe, because Kunai do the job just fine.

I think it's a stupid game design decision by Ubi to lock weapon types and make them exclusive to one character when NONE of the other games who had a dual protagonist ever did this.

What good reason is there for Naoe not being able to use a bow or Yasuke not being able to use the tanto?

In fact, when you read about it all many female warriors did use the naginata! Yet Naoe can't use it.

I see no good reason to restrict weapons to one specific character. People still will predominantly play as Naoe, the ASSASSIN, in an Assassin's Creed game.

Actually they are not gender locked they are style locked. Yasuke uses Samurai style weapons and armors, Naoe uses Shinobi style weapons and armors.

Ubisoft actually did a good job at differentiating the two completely different styles

im 1000% sure Naoe cant lift these Kanabos, some of them i wonder if Yasuke can tbh
jillsandwich 19 ABR a las 12:48
Brah you dealing with Japanese fellas here. These mofos be slashing the same trunk with the same slice everyday for their entire lives. If Naoe weilds a short Katana and a Tanto is because that's her mastery

Also you really think a miserable twinkie like Naoe would be lifting 2-tons Kanabos?
