Is it me or the game is too easy?
I cranked up the difficulty, don’t use the “eagle vision” wallhack, but the game is still very easy as Naoe — and even easier as Yasuke. I’ve probably died, like, once or twice in over 60 hours.
I think it’s somehow related to the AI (maybe?), but the previous games weren’t this easy, if I recall correctly.
I actually had to switch to Rise of the Ronin because I started to feel bored without any kind of challenge.

Anyone feel the same way?

yes. even on the highest difficulty the combat gets very trivial especially once you gain levels/abilities. not saying I want souls level fights but it feels a bit too dumbed down.

Having beat basically every Sekiro style deflect game I can get my hands on, AC:S is pretty easy. But it's also satisfying, so it's still fun.
Very early on, it seemed like, "maybe don't go into open combat. We'll, at least, don't get surrounded." By the teens, I was dropping groups with Naoe. Yasuke, I haven't fully explored his suite of weaponry, but he isn't as effective at AoE as Naoe, but he is a tank that can dish out good damage and sustain very effectively.

On Yasuke, I wear the legendary to up damage by 75%, but health is cut to 25%, and I am just smashing ♥♥♥♥. If I take some hits, I regenerate it just as quickly.
AC Valhalla was a lot too easy and a lot more easy, I had to use custom difficulty to use mostly max-1 difficulty. I hadn't this problem with Odyssey despite 2 (long) plays.

ACS Yasuke seems a bit broken on difficulty aspect, otherwise many comments seem evoke some OP holes with 1 or 2 hit kills that is obviously a broken gameplay, but not all clearly quote they use max difficulty.

All in all it seems there's a problem for combats, and perhaps not for Valhalla max difficulty but Valhalla had a problem too otherwise.

For stealth, I don't get how it's easier than ACOd or ACV, I forgot for ACOr. On start it's junk by daylight in ACS and other AC hadn't this weird design.
All AC games are easy.
The game is made for the mainstream, so it make sense tbh.

This. And Shadows is, compared to the rest of the series, probably one of the more difficult combat systems if that tells anyone anything. This series has never really been about challenging combat.

The AC franchise is for casual players, not actual gamers.

What does that even mean? You dont have to be a sweaty tryhard to be a gamer.

What are "gamers?"

So to answer your question. Ubisoft said they are looking into a higher difficulty setting...most likely will come with NG+ update.

What are "gamers?"

A lover of finely chiseled gameplay, and well though level design and difficulty progression.

Not the afterthought/neverthought Ubisoft formulae.

Hardest settings from the start using Naoe.

Must have died 100 times using the Tanto because trying to stab multiple enemies to death, one at a time, became a chore.

Early-game Action/Adventures are always a challenge. Until you level up and fill a skill tree. Then it's game over for the AI.

Once I learned how to use the Kusarigama and completed the tool tree, it was over.

I rarely die now. With all of the crowd control ability the Kusarigama has, nothing comes close to touching Naoe. She gets hit by the occasional ranged weapon. That's it.

The toughest fight up to level 48 is still the Tournament Champ. I almost killed him on the first try, then struggled for some reason after that. Took several deaths to final kill him.

He cheats like crazy, but keeps telling you that he fights fair.

Like I said....the Sweaty Tryhards are trying to gate keep the term gamer. Maybe they think it makes them special or something

Seeing through walls is not a hack. It's an Assassin ability, much like how Sam Fisher has spy gadgets that do the same thing.

A hack would be modifying the game files so Yasuke could see through walls.

That seems rather arbitrary.

Why do so many "gamers" hang around and spend so much time here?
