Not getting Knowledge points?

Hi, I been stuck on Knowledge needs "2" points for like 2 hours. I been doing a bunch of the temples and stuff but its just stuck and not moving. is it a bug?

There's Knowledge level and knowledge points, what you need since some time is probably skill level, and what ypu collect at each temple and other is one skill point.

When you open skill panel and before switch to any specialization, check at bottom left, you see knowledge level, and knowledge points still needed to reach next level.

Thanks, I was playing a little more and it seems actually to be story locked. I was still like on the 3rd level. Only did Heads will roll quest. it seemed to locked me behind that once i finished it, i got the knowledge rank up.

Thanks for this - I completely missed those details in the lower left and couldn't figure out how to track progress in knowledge rank
