Manual Seaonal Change
Why are we prevented from changing the seasons manually? I get the time of day not being a thing since its a benefit for stealth at night.. But come on, we should be able to speed up seasons from our Hideout or something..

I've never done it, but in the main menu, in the upper right corner, there's a season indicator. I thought I saw a button (for me, I think it was X). So I assumed you can change the seasons. Is that not the case?

Yeah that works, but it’s time based.. each season is like 4 hours of in game time. I just need my dang legendary sumi-e’s

I believe you can manually roll over the season, but only when it would've normally changed. Had you fast traveled so the cut scene would've played. That being said the reason is pretty obvious when you think about it. They don't want you to engage in clock scumming. Folks would otherwise camp the best castle, smuggle everything inside with their scouts. Move the dial on the clock forward, and repeat the whole process again.

Mind you while there are legitimate reasons where game play is concerned. Their most likely motivator for this mechanic limitation. Is that they run a cash shop for in game resourced. It would cut into their profits if you controlled the clock. You'd have very little in the way of a need to buy resources, money, or items. If you could sit in the same dungeon, and create a repeatable speed run.

Yup ,two days; 30 minutes of day/night each.
Manual season change and even pause would be great. Maybe as something unlockable once you get to a certain point in the game or something.

Hopefully if that isnt added, modders do.
