Ubisoft's reply? "Check my system requirements" amongst other generic troubleshooting tips. I have a new i9-14900KF processor and a 4080 Super, so it's certainly not on my end. It's quite a shame because the game is actually pretty nice- when it's functioning. I'm hoping that they will eventually fix this so I can play the game!
Ok, so I got a response from the developer (either a truly human being or a bot.... no matter) the thing is, they proposed some ideas of trying to fix this and apparently it fixed the bugs (for me at least).
What I have tried is one of the suggestions made:
"If possible, try installing the game, Ubisoft Connect, and Steam on the same drive. For the best performance, we recommend using an SSD."
And it worked, truly I lost all the installed games & had to re-install them, but it worked. Since then I don't encounter this bugs/issues. In order not to loose the progression from the AC Shadows, save the files from the Ubisot location (check google for that).
Game and Connect are on two different drives (Both nvme's though, not that it really matters)
