I'm running an i9 and a 3090 GPU I doubt it's my PC. If I've downloaded the game to my PC there should be no reason for anything to be streaming from the internet unless Ubisoft decided that they didn't want people to download the entire game to their PC which is just stupid.
LOL, no, that's not what I meant. In a game that has a map this large and detailed, the game itself is constantly loading the rest of the map relative to the position of the Player. That's how they avoid loading screens, because the map is constantly loading as you're moving.
So, if the game is pausing and the loading icon is showing on the screen, then you're moving faster than the game can load the map. Like the Flash running into parallel realities in the Flashpoint Paradox.
But that is usually the result of some kind of hardware limitation. Did you update your drivers before installing the game? I'm running on an RTX 4060 and I needed to update my drivers. This game is beefy at high settings.
happens to me, and I have a Ryzen 9 7950X3D a 4090 and 64 GB of ram, and yes I've tried putting it on Medium quality. The PC port is just horribly optimized
Something is fundamentally broken with this game, and I was hoping the recent patch would address this. Unbelievable
I amp laying on a 3090Ti...
It has trouble playing this with out help.
Med to high settings a couple on Ultra
I chose NOT to run any upscaling and play at my native res = 3840x1080
I am only able to get around 45-55 FPS
So I turn on the AMD frame gen (Nvidia doesnt let the 30xx series use thier DLSS 3)
AND
Lock my FPS to 60 (using Afterburner / Riva Tuner)
Now I have pretty good nice looking game settings and NO input latency.
rock solid 60FPS (no tearing on my 120hz panel) rock solid frame times and NO traversal stutters or texture pop ins or nasty artefacts from upscaling.
I have to do this until I upgrade my OLD AF gaming rig
Ryzen 9 3900x / 3090Ti / 32GB just does not cut it anymore.
Saving for a 5080Ti / 9950x3D / 64GB and hopes it will serve me as good as my current has.
