AC: Shadows is NOT a success

Sure, the game looks fantastic, but graphics alone cannot hold up a game that rubs our faces in a pile of woke rubbish every other scene. I've just refunded my purchase in full. Imagine being someone who purchased the game and wrote a positive review when not even playing it just to push Ubisofts agenda further. Unbelievable behavior really.

AC:S is not such a game. I can't create my own character. I have to play as a black dude or a japanese girl. I'm neither. This automatically destroys all immersion and gives me no choice. Most games usually have a character editor to avoid such a problem.

But my curiosity was not satisfied. How do you measure the thing why talk about? What I see is your opinion. So therefore I just dismissed it. I do have a different approach to games. Do the companies respect me is the main question. And I can tell you this company does not respect me, as there are a login screen and a cash shop for a single player game. This opinion concerns only me. If you feel happy to log in your Ubisoft account and buy stuff for a single-player game, then I'm fine with your decision. Be happy. I'm not going to classify the game as the "most cash grabbing" one.

To be fair I was mildly interested in the game while watching Cohh playing it. Maybe 6 or 7 out of 10. But then the cash shop popped up. Even if it was 12/10 I still would not buy it.

And this is why I recommend people to play and support developers that are passionate about making awesome games and not default to huge companies that are passionate about milking the life out of you with macro-transaction.

to be honest, i used to buy AC on steam. but when Valhalla didn't come out on steam i switched over to buying them on ubisoft connect and to be honest it's just been easier to buy straight from there since i made the switch. And I'm sure that I'm not the only one that did so.

What I got from this conversation was that you prefer talking to random people on internet rather than playing an awesome game. Last time I played a really awesome game I was MIA for 2 months. You? You played about 30 hours total. You stopped playing on 27 Mar. So you have played 8 days max.
