>10M copies need to be sold at full price to be profitable.
Thats atrociously low for an AC in 2025 and woefully low for Ubisoft in general.
Its also only March, not many AAA releases yet. Come back to me in Sept/Oct and then we will see it on the charts for 2025
First line in the article....
"According to the 2025 video game retail sales data and Circana industry analyst Mat Piscatella"
Cope.
Literally second highest launch of the entire series, second only to Valhalla from a few years ago.
I agree about the end of the year though. I bet even MH: Wilds will ultimately end up MAYBE near the bottom of the top ten by the end.
Based on what? Oh right based on nothing but your own feelings and absolutely on nothing else.
Data? What sales data?
Im still waiting for any of these analysts, insiders and Ubisoft themselves to post their copies sold.
If they were so "proud" of their achievement, why not show it?
Capcom had no issues posting theres for MHWilds.
You mean "players"?
The same "players" that play on Ubisoft+, sharing copies with their friends/family, review copies given for free, free keycodes given by Ubisoft themselves and even free codes with graphics card sales.
Talk about being blinded.
This same thing was said about avowed... They said Avowed reached 5.9 million players... Almost double AC Shadows player count.
