I found out the reason why it is the way it is. It is built so Yasuke joins Naoe. I saw it in my third playthrough. The reason Yasuke is so intrigued by the blade is cause of the day on the ship where the assassin saved him. And then he sees it on the Iga guy, then on Naoe.

The Brotherhood has more members than the main characters we play as in game. Just accept the fact it was an assassin and move on.

How did it take you 3 playthroughs? I saw that on my first playthrough.

Also, 3 playthroughs in 10 days? You need to take a break from the computer.

I think you just want to argue.

Ezio Auditore

WRONG. He died of a heart attack in Florence at the age of 65

Then Kassandra, immortal and still alive at this time. (I hate so much ACV for its junk end, where hero is betrayed and lost at end, I can't believe it, never replayed it because of this junk and will never).

It was a man. Also, that would be the lamest death for someone as important as Kassandra

Just going to copy and paste this to say it again. The Brotherhood has more members than the main characters we play as in game. Just accept the fact it was an assassin and move on.

Yeah its actually pretty amazing when you find out why Yasuke couldnt kill Naoe during the Nobunaga fight but 3 playthroughs for that?
Anyways the way it is built is kinda stupid in my opinion, they should have made 2 seperate playthroughs for each character one with the option to have Naoe/Yasuke join the fights like the other companions. Cause fighting without them makes no sense considdering they are both in the cutscenes afterwards even though I would actually prefere to not have Yasuke featured in the main quest cutscenes cause its Naoe's personal revenge like the templars are Yasuke's revenge.
Yasuke made a promise after the fight, and a samurai does not break a promise. But the boat part explains at least how he knew about the blade in the first place. I was almost thinking about a Black Flag connection, with pirates freeing slaves
