Now that Ubisoft is dead
What will Tencent do with their new IPs? I bet AC Shadows will get a lot of changes. Maybe they’ll remove that terrible Yasuke character and give us a proper Japanese samurai in a future update?

We need Assassin's Creed China (not the crappy 2D game that came out 10 years ago).

Of course not that's ridiculous to even consider happening. A change will come in years since it takes a long time to make a new game. Still, considering the recent success of chinese games tencent will make sure that new games will be made for gamers.

I wouldn't say they're dead. They're just hold alive. In an artificial way, but whatever. Now they need to make business which makes money. Tencent demands success at this point.
I mean, China is very anti Japan, so I doubt we'll get a proper game set in Japan, a game set in China would be more likely

Tencent doesn't have control over anything. Tencent owns more of Larian than they do Ubisoft. This is debunked alt-right fake news.
Yes, I'm sure a goliath company like Tencent who buys Ubisoft like its candy is not going to bend them to their will.

I wonder if some of the OLD Ubisoft games will go back on sale soon now??

And folk's still claim he's not the impetus behind the outrage over AC shadows.

UbiSoft is not dead, stop spreading disinformation! Tencend only has 25% stake to fund development, so how do people even THINK that the company is sold? Or even 'dead'?

It's 25% now but soon it will be 50% and then 75% etc.

Yasuke is the reason the game is doing so well. It would've been forgettable otherwise.
This was a good one xD thank for the laugh!!

Do people seriously think Tencent will change anything for the better, if at all? They own stock in the most vial deprived game companies on earth, like blizzard, riot, and epic. Ubisoft would get WORSE is Tencent had any say in anything. Thankfully they are only an investment company.

Alt-right incel fake news post. Tencent investing in an Ubisoft subsidiary (something you do with SUCCESSFUL companies) while Ubisoft gives nothing and maintains control of everything is evidence that Shadows is doing well.

They literally just spun off their most profitable IPs to a chinese gaming company

Ubisoft IS DEAD, ubiWOKE killed it.
If/when Ubisoft will be back, making good games, after all the talentless message pushing unproductive DEI hires are fired, if ever, I'll consider buying and playing Ubisoft games.
I want ubiWOKE dead and i want Ubisoft back.

Now this i see happening fast. I also see like others have said we are gonna get an ac in China or Korea. I still expect a Korea dlc for shadows about the giant war that took place during the games timeline that they just don’t mention!
