Fair enough.
My point was, that many people always assume that its 70 euro for everybody... or even the majority.
If Valhalla started poorly and became the most succesful AC game, then your whole point about Shadows starting poorly is futile. If Valhalla was so succesful after a poor start, then Shadows can do the same. By your own admission poor initial sales don't indicate poor sales overall. Except it's the most succesful Ubi launch on PS5 ever.
The new Snow White movie also made more revenue than the original, like lots of more revenue.
It did however not make a profit, unlike the original....
It isn't invalid at all though, as Valhalla was a pandemic game - that's what fueled those sales.
I cannot wait to come back to these forums in the next few weeks and laugh.
If Valhalla had a special advantage, then it should be taken out of the comparison entirely.
Veilguard sold no more than 1.5m copies in its first 3 months (per EA). Note, "reached 1.5m players".
Shadows has doubled that reach within 1 week, despite a lower peak Steam concurrency. Almost like it's a bigger game on console!
So no, Veilguard didn't sell better at launch.
Also, AC Valhalla was the biggest launch in AC history, and was also it's biggest PC launch ever, as it was also available on EGS and Ubisoft's own store.
I don't know where you're getting your info from, but I'd double check it
That is false
The fact that you can't even get the facts right, means that no reasonable person should be taking anything else you say seriously.
We don't have stats on what Shadows has sold, neither do you. All Ubisoft is saying is "players" and that's for good reason.
Yup, it's hilarious that he thinks people should take him serious when he can't even get the most basic facts correct. Everything he says is based on made up BS including the release dates on Steam.
