cant stealth in daytime

am i just supposed to afk for 30 mins irl until night time so i can stealth? pretty funny that the game is called shadows yet you can only use stealth for less than half of the game

But you can go prone in combat and crawl around the enemies feet and they cant hit you

I can stealth forts easily in daytime on the highest difficulty... are you not using eagle vision, tagging enemies and going prone? stealth in AC requires patience

if you expect to just run up to the first guy you see and get a stealth kill without checking your surroundings that's kind of on you

Fast traveling can advance the clock too. The game could have really used time skip controls and season controls. If / when they fix it fast travel is the only thing to do. They have a lot more pressing matters to rectify.

Use bushes, smoke bombs to cut their view.
In day time i act like solid snake. I crawl everywhere and advance slowly
