Shadows turned out to be a banger

Im so impressed with what the developers at Ubi has been able to put together here despite surely being pressured to produce the same kind of bland and broken drivel theyve released recently. I found fun in those bland games but they wreaked of corporate interference. This one doesnt wreak so much of that. I love Shadows. I think its a hell of a lot of fun, its one of the most beautiful games Ive ever played (and i play them all), the story is good to quite good, its layed out well, the backstories are weaved in interesting ways, the right amount of content, microtrans do not feel forced at all. Gathering materials and earning money in game is very easy and satisfying. Everywhere I turn its another jaw dropping vista and when you turn the RT and Speculars up its truly amazing what Anvil can do. Its a great action adventure game with some solid RPGness sprinkled in. One of, if not THE best modern AC imo. I would love for everyone who appreciates good fun to give this game a fair chance.

The game is incredibly awesome. And gorgeous. Weather effect and seasons are ground breaking. Stealth gameplay is boss. Combat is boss.

3 nitpicks I have
- After Cyberpunk 2077, I found NPC / Conversation in ACShadow a little bit lacklustre
- Enemy AI sometimes totally mess up. It's funny, and thankfully only occasional.
- I have not experienced it myself, but a few people on the forum have game stopper crash
