And i am aware players and copies sold are two different things. Notice how i specifically said “2 million players” in my initial post?
Read more comprehensively next time before coming in with “corrections” that aren’t applicable.
Took 2 months for Veilguard to hit 1.5 million players.
Took Shadows 1 week to hit 3 million players.
Veilguard did better? really?

Players is a vague and pointless metric on its on... what does it mean? Unique interactions? Do 4 profiles on the same PS count as 4 players? Obviously free/promotional and rentals count.. etc etc
You're confusing what all those terms mean. Total players is very different from concurrent players. Both are very different from sales.

Yes. And they're controlled by alien lizard people who eat babies and poison us with chemtrails.
Before responding, please understand I do not care about Ubisoft's finances. I am not interested in defending some corporation's honor. I care about the game itself as a creation of the artists behind it, and the game itself is wildly successful and has found fandom. It's not a case like some other Ubi games that just completely missed the mark. Like, tbh, now that they finally got a ninja AC game out, and it's good... I don't care what happens to Ubisoft anymore! I just like this game in particular, lol.
Eh, let's not go down this path in a topic where we're bringing up other games that are just as likely to have botting to boost player numbers as a counterpoint to AC's steam concurrent player numbers.
Do your numbers account for Ubisoft connect user's and console editions ?
