Does this game require you to launch a Ubisoft launcher in order to play?
I'm positive this question has been asked to death already, but I know that some Ubisoft games I've purchased in the past required a Ubisoft specific launcher (Uplay) to launch, which then launched the game afterwards. I personally don't like doing this for multiple reasons -- I felt the same about EA, until at some point in the last few years they streamlined the process and EA's app no longer launches, but it instead just verifies that my Steam account is associated with an Origin account and launches straight into the game. What does this game do when you hit "play" in your library?

Sadly it requires ubisoft. And with how buggy ubisoft launcher is always making you resign in every update. I am unsure if this game is playable offline. Another reason why Ubisoft is failing.

It launched a "mini" vresion of Ubisoft connect if you don't have the full Ubisoft connect running in background.
