The game wont be banned in japan, they were talking about the fact u could destroy shrines in the game and worried tourists would do the same irl wich was patched out on the day 1 patch to not let u destroy or kill people in shrines

Thank you. But surely no one would deface a shrine because of what they experienced in a video game? Reminds me of when sleazy lawyers would try to get their scumbag clients off from some mass shooting because they had played GTA.

Ubisoft say they have paid these historical consultants and yet have bumbled over and over again. I’m glad that they apologised for the offence caused but they really should be suing these useless consultants. Based upon this i wouldn’t say that Ubisoft are institutionally racist, just guilty of being ignorant.
