Schedule I Just Curb Stomped Assassins Creed Shadows

67k players on Steam and I highly doubt it cost 200+ million to make XD

This is simply tragic.

You'll never believe this, but I guess I'll say it again anyway:

Assassin's Creed is not, has never been, and probably never will be, a PC game. It's a console game with a PC release.
And your point is? Like for like, if players in a game is reflective of interest. I'd say ACS is looking like it's lost a bucket load of interested players in under a week. ACS peaked at 64,825 and already Schedule I, a game I've never even heard of has passed 67,000 in a day.

I am merely pointing of the craziness of a unknown game literately blasting pass a AAA game in a week. I find that hilarious, almost like players want a game that's fun and not necessarily a game that took 6 years to make and 200+ million and could end a companies existence if it doesn't sell enough copies.

And so you know, I own AC3, ACBS, ACSyn, ACU, ACOr, ACOd, and ACV so, a bit of a vested interest on my part.

What does that even mean?

There is a simple answer as to why the game isn't selling beyond the political stuff.

1) It costs full price.
2) Everyone and their momma knows it'll be on sale by the time the Winter sell comes around,at the lastest.
3) The game forces a 3rd party launcher

To be fair most of the PC sale probably made their way to Ubisoft Connect.
Who cares? u play games or u scoping fresh noname releases getting bigger numbers than ACS? grow up

Wait what does that mean? Are you saying that like... Most games sold on Steam probably have to go through Ubi or strictly the games from Ubi? Please tell me it's not the former?! There's no way right?

It means that Steam numbers for an AC game are mostly moot. What matters is how well it's doing in its natural habitat, which is consoles. Xbox has no numbers, but PS5 numbers had it as #2 on launch day, beating out MH Wilds.

What do you mean? It's completely normal for a troll game made by a 1 guy, to have more concurrent players than a AAA game with $350m budget. Don't you know Shadows has 10,000,000 players on console chudcel!!!
Players or SALES? :D Because for a monthly fee of peanuts you to can play ACShadows on the Ubisoft Subscription Service!

Not quite the $100 payout they were expecting was it.

Reminds me of the Game Pass BS with Starfield. :D We have 1,000,000,000,000,000 players playing our new wonderful game. Then the sale figures came out it was like oh!
haha you can't make me buy this game

Yeah all my AC games were either free or at insanely high discounted rates. I got both AC:Valhalla and AC:Odyssey for about less than £10 with all their DLC from epic store. AC:Origins and AC:3 I got as a GFX Card free games, AC:Black Flag, AC:Syndicate, AC:Unity were all free game giveaways.

Seem to be contradicting yourself?
Since we have another of those hater vs normie discussion... I am curious.

Why the hate at all btw?
I mean there is lots of hater everywhere these days.. but the heat is very strong. I find that.. incredible. Obviously none of the hater care or played the game. So what motivate them?

A few seems to be simply racist hater (a black guy in my game, eek). But there are even more haters than that, without any particular goal in mind it seems.

It's all very surreal. I must have been living under a rock... didn't notice the ♥♥♥♥ storm outside...

Answered your own question
Well.. you just agree there is a ♥♥♥♥ storm outside. But my question is what are the causes behind this weather pattern, you know?
Well obviously you don't know, just adding that for clarity!

I mean obviously it will be probably some kind of propaganda / misinformation, etc.. But I don't even know about it!

When companies draw an ideological line in the sand, some will cross it, and some won’t. As tribal creatures, we end up fighting each other while the company loses potential buyers.

This is why companies and public figures should keep their political views, hiring practices, quotas, and ideologies to themselves, not push them.

Care to elaborate?
Someone somewhere did something is a bit vague.. which someone? which somewhere? which thing? Which ideology? What line was crossed?

I googled and all I find is allegation of Ubisoft being a toxic workplace. Sad, thought this vague one liner doesn't explain all the right wing anger? (right winger love toxic workplace as far as I understand) (and the allegation, according to the news, are a bit vague as well, and they are just that, allegations)
