Is it about the black Samurai? To be honest its a bit weired that they forced in a black samurai in that time of old Japan but.. its not sooo bad for me. At last they tried to explain it with a character that really exists - even if not 100% fitting.

Also the choice to be gay is not a problem - you have those choices back for a looong time now in roleplay games. Like in Dragon Age Origins for example. As long as its a choice and not forced its fine for me, right? Like in Baldurs Gate 3? Choices are good?

Do i miss something much more worse then this?

If that is all its MILES away from the unbearable political agenda a Dragon Age Veilguard was screaming in your face. THAT was really really terrible.

Its woke because pretty much all of the love interests are either gay or trans.

Honestly, youd better ask what ISN'T woke about this game, that would be much easier because of how short the list would be.

I couldn’t give a dam about SBI cuz I just see them as scam artists too inept to do anything. The Marvels for months had people hating on it cuz it was 3 female leads (two women of color) and they kept talking about how it was woke, DEI, male erasure, feminazi girl boss etc etc. basically all the buzz words. Then when it came out it was just a super hero team up movie with no mention made of their gender or races.

It’s a bit like this one where they latched onto something they didn’t like and blew it up and actively wished for it to fail without even giving it a chance and judging it on its own merits

That's what the woke world does with the memory of real people. That's the wonderful woke world to which the “fascists” do not want to belong. They could have given more respect to a person who suffered so much in his life and not put him to fight to the rhythm of rap. It's disgusting.

My biggest complain about the usage of "woke" is that there is zero consistency in their arguments. I grew up in the 90s, Female Protagonists existed, Black protagonists existed, Gay protagonist existed. Freaking Cloud was cross dressing in 97. Where was the outrage then? Why did they wait so long to suddenly decide it's now not okay for these things to exist? if they just came out clear and said "we hate Ubisoft and we have a bias" I'd actually applaud them for at least being honest for why they are here and why they are picking at straws.

So, that's pretty discriminatory against enslaved people, as if they are too dirty to be honored/honorable. Nonetheless, the history shows that he was brought into the honored position of a samurai under Nobunaga. It happened. In real life.

In Japan, gay sex and gender fluidity/crossdressing were common. And, again, how is gay sex woke?

The game discourages slaughtering civilians and, why is killing them, as a black man, racist?
