Performance Patch When?????

When will be getting a performance patch to fix the horrible optimization. Im barely able to load into cutscenes and they are stuttery as hell. I want to play the game already!!!!

Want to know this as well. Everytime i boot the game its a surprise. Sometimes its smooth, sometimes it stutters and sometimes it wont go above 24fps (5080 7800x3d). Latest NVIDIA driver makes problems. In my case it could be more of a nvidia sided problem

What’s your rig? I’m also having some stutters here and there when I pause the game and resume.

I feel like it could be I remember Ubisoft working with Nvidia with DLSS issues

At least you're able to start the game, the update made my game unlaunchable, I get a diskwrite error whenever I update, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling Steam, and doing the same with the game, but no luck...

It may take weeks or months to release major patch to address bugs and performance issues.

It takes, no kidding, 5 minutes for each cut scene to load while locking up my entire system at points. The Space to skip icon will come up, then I wait 5 minutes as my system seizes intermittently. I've only made it as far as the 3 Portuguese meeting with the 3 samurai in the Cherry Blossom garden. The issue starts right when launching the game during menu animations. I've deleted and reinstalled etc etc.
4080RTX, 64GB RAM, i9, installed on my 2nd SSD.

I usually max out my monitor's FPS (100) at max settings ultrawide 1440p but after a while ~20-40 minutes, the game just cuts the performance in half (48 fps). My temps are good, it just seems the game stops using the full potential of my GPU. 12700KF/4090. I hope they fix this soon.

performance is great for me im on 5080 ryzen 7 7800x3d game is running at 140fps 2k look amazing never any crashes running corsair dominator 6000mhz i think peeps just gotta put that money into their pc it will pay off trust me

Regarding my problem, I found a workaround. I set the upscaler to TAA and turn off and on the frame generation (which is DLSS based).

So I'm guessing they need to fix the DLSS issue.
