Asmongold was wrong about this game

He keeps saying it is mid and an ok game. This is wrong, like he was wrong on Veilguard. He said it was the type of game you could play if you have nothing else to do and it's not too bad.

Who is paying this guy off? What is happening to Asmongold? Why is he being so nice, but so wrong giving Shadows anything but a huge thumbs down?

If people actually watched him he is trying to be as neutral as possible (from what Ive observed) He gave Veilguard a fair chance too. Usually he just plays the game and makes his own opinion. Saying the game is okay is the minimum for games nowadays. That just means its playable

He has missed like a dozen AC games and he thinks his opinion holds weight. He also fell for th 2 million player propaganda bs and claims the game is doing good. After all he has seen he is still too naive, i expected him to be sharper than this. Maybe he really likes the game because it is his first but he is gaslighting himself again like with Avoawed and Velguard. Can't wait for him to realize how wrong he is about the sales.

Yeah, I really do not understand what is going on in his brain. He also attacked Elon Musk and accused him of lying about PoE 2 which even Elon was shocked by and cut him off. Maybe Asmongold is more psychologically scarred from being banned for 2 weeks then we realize and he is caving to the lying left?

As he stated previously, he had an habit of eating ♥♥♥♥, because he played wow and only wow for so long and didn't knew there were incredible games out here.

So he knows he's really bad at judging games and he has to somehow play a lot of different games in order to build an appreciation capacity. It may be the reason why he played a lot of really different games recently (at least since he completely stopped wow).

I don't think he's wrong. The game is mid. But mid isn't good enough nor is it a success.

no, he was right. ubisoft is planning to split up aka planning to get bought by other publishers aka microsoft or EA etc. otherwise will they go bankcrupt.

You realise that Asmon played World of Warcraft almost exclusively for years and is not exactly versed in actual good stuff.
His initial view on Avowed is a prime example of that. Dude has no frame of reference.

so, you say a game like avowed where everyone says "its just okay" ... is good? did you looked at avowed´s state? its dead ... lol.
it got aswell already said by publisher and dev that the game is a flop.

He initially said that Avowed is fine... Then people started showing him examples of games released over a decade or two decades before doing the same things and more and better.

So when he says something is great, mid or ok, chances are it is worse.

It's not that chances are that it is worse. It is worse.

Wow has a really low bar regarding game mechanics, it's pretty basic and has really few mechanics.

Reason's why he was so pleased with avowed.

As you say, no frame of reference. In 2 years, if he keeps playing games, and playing older games, he may build one, only time will tell.

Anyway, reviews, may they be positive or negative, all bring a lot of negative points (which is a bit strange for positive reviews), and those negative points brought to me that the game is just bad.

The writting appears to be meh, the story is not interesting, the combat is just repetitive, the A.I is somehow worst than games out 5+ years ago, NPC's don't follow on roof, few bugs, but major ones (audio completely stops after few minuts of games for some people).

Seeing that, to me it looks just like a meh title, more than a mid title.
