Nothing has ever stopped anyone from playing anything to begin with, it's all just nonsense designed to create a problem that was never one to begin with.
Elle was hated because she put on muscle in TLOU2, and the game was declared woke because of that.
Aloy was hated because she had fuzz on her cheeks, and the game was declared woke because of that.
The rest came out before podcasting was a thing and these people started getting their scripts from hate mongers.
if what you got from that persons post was "women bad" make bad game that says more about you than them.
first this inst the first female AC lead character in the franchise that would go to syndicate.
you can also choose to be female in both Odyssey and Valhalla.
add to that some of the best video games of the last 20 years has had fantastic female leads, tomb raider, horizon, TLOU perfect dark just to name a couple and im pretty sure other people can add meany more to that small list.
this has nothing to do with female vs male characters and those that say it is are stupid people that just want to cause outrage where its not.

I think both of you are mixing up characters the buff chick Abby that murdered Joel, that was hated for such. That they then forced the player to control. It was rage bait:the game.
> No, it was because of trans and killing the man
Aloy was hated because she had fuzz on her cheeks, and the game was declared woke because of that.
> No, it was because she was uglified
The rest came out before podcasting was a thing and these people started getting their scripts from hate mongers.
> No, BG3 was mostly praised.
I don't know about any of that...I think it's more a case of kids sexually developing while watching anime and getting completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up by the standards in that media. You have to actually get close enough to a real woman to see that yes they do often get a little fuzz, or have arm hair. Then the hate monger pod casters get their claws in to their squishy little brains to tell them what they want to hear.
I may very well be. I remember the huge complaint being how they couldn't put on muscle like that in the world they live in, despite any evidence to the contrary.
it was not political, it was using potential real life events crossed with fiction to make a fun and enjoyable story line loosely based in the reality of the past.
i would not say shadows is political, i would say its a product on today's society, people care more about non issues than about enjoyment. does it matter that there is a black man and a female assassin? nope, but people will tell you there is and you will lap it up like sheep and bleat it out like its the truth.
Yea BG3 was highly praised but that doesn't stop you people from your "hurrrr is diz woek" nonsense. Y'all are STILL trying to wage that war on the forums there. If y'all are good at one thing it's rewriting history.
Why don't you direct this to the history professors who are spending their time here crying about the inaccuracies?
