Is Ubisoft really splitting up after Shadows?

I was reading in a couple different locations on the internet, one was Asmongold but I don't trust him as he'll say anything to play upon and manipulate people's bitterness and ignorance. I'm sorry for saying that, I'm not trying to belittle him or cut him down but that's what he does. But the other one was Bellular News on youtube and I was wondering if anyone can confirm this. Is Ubisoft going out of business or are they splitting up into a couple new studios? Is it even true at all?

Nothing is confirmed yet but it being talked about in the company it's basically a Hail Mary Lifeboat in a attempt to save the company.

Like AC Shadows to pull Ubisoft out of the hole there in now needs to sell about 15-20mill copys at full price & Ubisoft has been doing the playbook of Veilguard in saying there's millions of players played the game & not they sold millions of copys so it's not looking good.

You do know this is happening within the next few months? AC Shadows was never expected to save Ubisoft. At best it was to put Ubisoft in a better bargaining position. How do people not understand this? It's been out there for months. The disintegration of Ubisoft has already begun with mass layoffs.

Bellular was talking about communications between investors and ubisoft that had been disclosed which investors threatened legal action a while back. I think the splitting thing is just speculation with no evidence. But it's probably likely. They are gonna have to downsize at the very least even more than they already have.

Yes the rumors are true unfortunately....Any current AC games in development will be canceled as a result and you can forget about future AC titles. Enjoy Shadows as it is the last of the franchise. I think it ended in a good place..in feudal Japan as a shinobi, probably where the series should of started to begin with.
