Ubisoft are a game developer that created some of the most fun games from my childhood long before it adopted the Woke ideology. It's games were innovative and immersive with well written stories. This is what allowed Ubisoft to become one of the largest giants in the gaming industry

Today Ubisoft is seen as nothing more than a bastion for Woke, uninnovative and generic gameplay. It's games are essentially reskin after reskin and it's writing is what you would expect from a secondary school drama class. An Assassin's Creed based in Feudal Japan was always the most anticipated game in the series and while it is doing well in reviews it still needs to sell million of units just to break even not to mention it's just Assassin's Creed. It's not a giant AAA title. Even if successful it would never be enough to save Ubisoft. What's more is that now that Feudal Japan is done it can only go down from here. Claiming this as a win for the Woke ideology when the entire company is going under because of it is ridiculous

Now that the video game, movie and TV industry is starting to reject wokeism due to poor sales the woke crowd are getting angrier and more aggressive at a world that has rejected their ideology. Few industries want to embrace wokeism because we can now witness the fall of so many that do. Investors for example are now pushing Disney away from Wokeism and back to their Roots that made them such a success

Claiming Wokeism is an ideology i made up is a very strange over indulgent compliment given the entire Western world knows what it is. I assure you i don't have such an ability.

Corporations do operate on profit however those in high positions also operate on ideology. This is why Disney for many years was willing to take a financial hit to try and push the Woke ideology despite poor sales however investors are now pressuring Disney and other corporations to abandon wokeism or they will pull the pin in the face of such financial loss

To be fair my favorite Assassin's Creed was origins because out of them all it tried to ignore this woke elements and focus on great gameplayand innovative and immersive gameplay. Then came Odyssey and you could see where things were headed. At least we have KCD2 🙂. Gaming moves on
