Now yall tried to boycott Shadows and it failed.

Maybe the anti woke echo chamber should just stick with fantasy games to drag and stay away from Japan moving forward.

Boycott is not what was really going on. the main real complaints was about certain things that disrespected Japanese culture (shrine destruction, the gate, using wrong designs and such, turning the main character into a skull bashing tyrant rather then whop he was and what he wouldn't have done)).

Some of that was addressed, some it is to late to change.

IT was more a disappointment than boycott. Other than the bigoted people against woman and such.

As for AC: Shadows, when companies have to show 'players' instead of copies sold, it’s never a good sign. Personally, I’m satisfied with the boycott, I expected a 500k Steam peak, and it barely reached half of Veilguard’s numbers.

There's no way Ghosts of Yotei boycott is going to succeed. The ... ideology that makes people take issue with Yotei isn't powerful enough to stop a hotly anticipated game release.

If it does, though, feel free to come back to this thread and give me a good I told you so.

I was in the Steam forums when the game came out....they most definately wanted it to fail bc they didn't want to get a PSN account. This was literally around the same time they boycotted Helldivers 2 for the same reason.
