This is how ac should be, not 1 million useless collectibles that noone cares about and forcing your to open your map every 10 seconds so you can mark them.

Theres other good stuff aswell but Im so glad that Im using a map way less than in previous games.

Its good cause the map icons actually mean something unlike Valhalla where every golden dot on the map just meant another iron ingot to potentially upgrade gear which was pointless considering how underwhelming all the gearsets used to be.

Oh yea, i still havent finished valhalla but after 80 hours i was still using the first armor set you get, horrible really lmao

Its even worse if you bought the complete edition including the berserk and twilight armor.
These two armor sets are basically cash shop items and thjerefor better than almost everything you can find in the game.
Dont get me wrong I dont think Valhalla is a bad game but the gear system was kind of awful.
So far I like how the gear works in Shadows, you get random drops here and there sometimes even purple so you can engrave them and the gear pieces from legendary chests are always nice even though I almost hesitate to pick them up cause I am afraid to upgrade them with the exactly 2 gold I got so far. Maybe gold isnt that rare later on, who knows?

I really enjoy Shadows, the only thing that bothers me so far is that many, many outposts just are exactly the same so they get repetitive real quick.

You haven't played enough because there are collectables.
