Need help from someone who's good with computers please
My wife and I both want to play this game, but there is no option for multiple saved games by default.

my workaround is for us to each just have our own separate manual saves (and be very careful not to overwrite each others game)

Now that being said, I would really like to rename the save files so instead of "manual save 1" and "manual save 2" I can make it crystal clear by using our actual names on the manual save we will individually be overwriting

I am worried that if i go into my computers files and start poking around with the game files and saved data i will mess something up, i'm not very savvy with PC files and configurations and things like that. So if someone could please tell me how I can safely rename my manual save files without damaging or corrupting anything, I would be very grateful for your help.

Thanks in advance!

If you rename the save files to something else, the game won't recognize them because it is looking for the exact name of the file.

Instead, make two separate folders on your desktop. Name one "Wife's Save" make the other "My Save"

Then just COPY your individual save files into those folders AFTER you close the game and have gotten more progress.

If you want to play your save, grab the file from INSIDE the "My Save" folder. If it's for your wife, grab the one from inside her folder.

Let me know if that makes sense. You won't get a save corruption, but MAKE SURE TO TURN OFF CLOUD SAVES IN STEAM.

Did you ask your wife's boyfriend for help?

Hello.

Try setting up a second user (woman) on your PC and launching Steam and the game with this user.

The problem I see here is the cloud saves, so deactivate them for AC S first.

I've never tried it myself, just test it, good luck.
