You LOVE to See It. Success Stories
Did grifters REALLY think Assassins Creed: Japan wasn’t going to do well?

Get real. Any longtime fan of the series already knew that Japan was the most asked for setting since the start.

Take the grift elsewhere and let’s see if fail again and again in real-time

The equivalent of being taken with a grain of salt. As mentioned. Didn't play the game, then all your assumptions are just poor assumptions.

Should I really take someones opinion on a story and characters seriously when they haven't actually even spent a minute on any of it? The answer should clearly be no. Especially for a long rpg with a big character focus.

Ok, ♥♥♥♥ it, im using uno reverse card. Im throwing your argument right back at you. Did you play Veilguard then? You claim it to be fun game, yet i dont see it in your steam library. So far, you didnt say ANYTHING about the characters, while i listed HALF of character arcs in a nutshell.

You cant just say "Opinion nullfied" just because someone didnt play the game, say that you answer character arguments like that, yet STILL havent tried to talk about THE CHARACTERS.
You know consoles exist right?

Which ties back in to Assassins Creed, cause thats where the series sells the highest too. Even though Shadows is still doing incredibly well on PC for the series.

And that's exactly what DEI originally means; Hiring people of merits, but the term has been taken apart and made a political talking point on social media by Poo poo's paid minions to brake western culture apart, first and foremost American culture. So basically what you're doing is only effing up your own country to no avail. It's a power struggle for power among the rich, designed for the plebs to hate each other. They themselves don't give a damn, but if they can make people give a damn, then they can drive the plebs around like puppets. Simple. It's class war.
So what are the merits theyre hired for? Youre placing merit on race and sex. If merit is considered then it is clearly behind Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Dwindling your hiring pool to a fraction of the population based on race/sex, and then hiring the best of that pool - this is not a formula for success. Nor is letting greased palms alter your art from afar. You guys are being very selective with which words have meaning. Its been pretty wild watching things fall apart but fitting that JADES GAME will go down as a watershed moment in this mediums history.

(Pulls out the gun) SAY SOMETHING ABOUT DAMN CHARCTER ARCS!

Ok, jokes aside, people were saying the exact same thing about Veilguard.

You STILL didnt say anything about characters. Im getting the impression that you never finished it, even its been like what 6 months since release already?

Why would I go on a long explanation about characters..........from a completely different game............to someone who doesn't know the context...........and would just not care anyways?

Yeah no. If you're that interested in playing Dragon Age Veilguard, its right there. Better to play it blind even. And thats the final point.

Funny you're so fixated on this, when I made a question a while back that was practically ignored, which just ended up helping prove my point anyways.

Bro, I have the bloody context. I think everyone in this thread got it. Lets listen to your arguments. Dont be shy.

You... You havent finished it, didnt you? It would be easy to prove me wrong otherwise on characters. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Better yet, you probably got it via subscription service, WHICH MEANS NOT SO LONG AGO, because it was just added on them like a month ago. Which means you didnt EVEN BUY IT.

If im wrong on this, prove it. List the character arcs in one sentence. Its not hard. Ive done it.

And about not answered questions, bro, your track record on that one is hell of a lot bigger than mine, i just focused on this one, since you INSIST you played it, and you KNOW the characters. So it should be easy to list their arcs in a senctence for you.

Don't pay attention to him, he's deaf to what you say and blind to the truth. It's a waste of time trying to reason with people like that.

Nah nah nah, Im PRYING this info from him if i have to. It SHOULD be easy to prove me wrong, if he even KNOWS the story.

Last point on this. Don't expect any other Dragon Age related response.

But wow, don't just demand such a shallow answer. Summarizing an entire game and its characters in one sentence each accomplishes nothing. Especially not here.

If you want to actually experience a story, you don't go to Wikipedia summaries. Play it for yourself. Don't reduce it all to just one sentence.

Just like how Assassins Creed Shadows is best played, instead of going by what a couple of grifters whine about online (when that type of complaint is easily copy and pasted to anything and is incredibly easy to do).

Who's moving the goalpost?
Im sure that the difference between current players, and current sales is an incredible difference lmao.

The "coping" seems to be projection really. Lead by moving the goalpost by claiming that 1 million players in less than a day doesnt mean it sold well too.

Here are some reasons using player count is worse than copies sold:

* If the game is bought, played for 10 minutes, and returned, it still counts a player
* If a family shares one PC/Console, or in any way multiple accounts play 1 copy, they all count as unique players despite only 1 copy being purchased
* Every single subscription service Customer that downloads the game and plays for more than 1 minute counts (if you're generous, 3 subscriptions = 1 actual purchase)
* Cracked copies of the game that still allow you to connect to Ubisoft servers (yes, its possible) count as players
* Sales are not accounted for (The game is already on sale in some places/websites)
* Localized prices are not taken into consideration (The game costs ¥ 348 on Steam in China, or about $47.97 at full price as reported by steamdb)

Ubisoft reporting the number of players instead of copies sold just proves they're obfuscating the number of copies sold, presumably in an attempt to hide the statistics from their shareholders (who are already threatening lawsuits for failing to provide other important information). Ubisoft can't even come out now with a copies sold number unless it is significantly higher than player count because it would destroy the rest of their already dwindling credibility.

"prove they are obfuscating".

"Proves" is a strong word.

Don't assume that is what they are doing. Thats the problem.

It's done worse than Veilguard apparently which surprises me. I thought being a AC game alone would have had it do well.

I'm sure Veilguard surprised everyone with its awful performance too

They did exactly the same thing with Outlaws, 1.5 million players and then they had to admit that it hadn't sold even 1 million copies... but well, like before, blind to the truth, deaf to those who don't agree with you.

So you cant? Not even a single memorable or important intoraction? By YOUR words, i have shallow understaning of the game, yet I can do it. Why cant you?

This means you didnt even play it, otherwise you would've AT LEAST tried to list some interactions. Hell, I WILL LOWER the bar, and settle on character traits. THIS much should be easy enough.

Did... Did you play AC shadows the same bloody way? Because its not in your library either.

And why do you think Outlaws "didn't do well"?

Cause thats the issue. You can have your reasons for not liking a game, but if its grifter nonsense then yeah, dont expect others to take it seriously.

Problem with AC Shadows "criticism" is when its clearly just masked grifter nonsense. Instead of actual valid complaints.

Maybe I should have put all of this instead of just that sentence, but since you seem to like cutting everything that doesn't interest you and putting only a couple of sentences from the entire text..., but with Shadows they are doing the same as Outlaws, not saying how much it has sold, only how many "players" have played it, that's being desperate to avoid bankruptcy.
