Toggle Head wear on Cutscenes
Valhalla did it, why not Shadows?

All the animations are in there. I was actually surprised to see the skull mask for Yauske to have a moving mouth when he speaks. So why can't we have this? So many of the outfits look silly without their associated masks/helmets.

I absolutely second this.

Having no helmet or mask on in some cutscenes completely breaks immersion; like, playing as Naoe I'm a sneaky shinobi who disguises herself but I'm taking my mask off when talking to people?

At least give us the option to toggle it on/off.

Thank you.

Exactly. With a lot of their outfits, namely the Paid Outfits, they look cool, but take off the mask, and they look like those anime joke characters with the trust fund armour.
Aw, they did this in Oddessy too. smh Ubisoft.
Valhalla had a toogle for cutscenes so here's hoping it'll come in a patch soon. I can't see any cinematic or artistic reason to not got for it given that most cutscenes are more cinematic and immersive with your headgear toggled on.

Only downside is that you won't see Naoe's or Yasuke's face animations but to me it's a fair trade-off.

That is a commitment we Mask Users are willing to do. XD
Plus, some masks have actual animations set up for speaking, like the Tool Master mask for Naoe and the Skull Mask for Yauske.

???

Naoe takes off her headgear in the majority of cutscenes for me.

Indeed. And if those masks have facial animations I reckon all of them do?

Just. Do. It. Ubisoft.

I am a mask-wearing, katana-slicing, roof-jumping, shadow-sneaking shinobi, for sake's sake. I want to be that in cutscenes, too.

Yes. We are advocating and pleading Ubisoft that she leaves it on for shinobi reasons, obviously.

I agree I miss havinga mask or hat appear in the cutscenes. The npcs wear hats & mask in cutscenes, but we can't? So weird
Your weapons disappear in cutscenes too. Very weird.

You are correct. I noticed that the other day as well.

So now we're unequipping our weapons and our mask? What is this? Civil Japan? No. It's Feudal Japan which was basically the Wild West, only with katanas.
The majority of gameplay is looting gear and materials for upgrading that gear. Cutscenes are the perfect showcase for the players earned gear and transmogged outfits. I understand big story bears where it needs to be off but It is a detriment to the player experience to force all gear but torso off in "cutscenes" just so they can show off there drag and drop conversation animations.

Edit: someone who is much smarter than me please make a mod for this.
