i am not denying anyone here, but it just came to mind that Call of Duty game taking place in middle east for example is not necessarily for middle eastern market.

old counterexamples would be movies like indiana jones or 007 series where various asian and middle east, eastern europe nations are used as main stage but the target audience was strictly for westerners.

perhaps the same thing can be said about AC shadows too?

Ubisoft stock dropped over 7% in the run-up to the weekend, and in the last 5 days dropped 10% overall. I guess investors are thinking their money is misplaced within Ubisoft. Given the numerous lawsuits, in office scandals, the string of lacklustre sales and now potentially this latest release and the criticism it has wrought, I can see their point. I think Ubisoft can make great games, I know because I've played some of their past ones. They just need to park their issues to one side for just 1 single release and I think they will be golden.

But unfortunately, AC:Shadows just isn't that one. :(

Lol, it's not because of sales. Wow. You clearly don't know how stocks work. Want to avoid investigation selling off a stock about to tank? Sell it as soon as the product or service is available. This game clearly did not hit near pre sales hopes, so they dumped stock asap.
