The Reviews are not Looking Good Lmao

Some people are quick to point out that the game has above 80% positive reviews, however, in a game this divisive, that positive review score is a statistical fallacy, stemming from the fact that the people who wanted to buy this game are predominantly the people who want to like this game. Most of the people who criticize the game have no interest in wasting their money on this game, and therefore won't leave a review. This game's review score is basically like taking a survey of the people who want to write positive reviews.

Taking that into account, it really says something when you sort the reviews by most helpful, and all of the top reviews are either negative or sarcastically positive, and they don't even mention "woke" stuff. Within the top 10 reviews, the ones that rate this game positive don't even say anything good about the game.

do u know how many people bought the game to leave a negative review then refund it? this game has impressively been highly reviewed on steam, xbox and ps5 stores. then while i personally dont count them every game journalist has given them high score as well.

this game has performed very well. it is no question ubisoft was about to go bankrupt, they went all in on this game as a final shot in the dark and it paid off.

Literally none of that is relevant. Sure it's possible to buy the game, leave a negative review and immediately refund the game, but that takes time and effort that most people aren't willing to waste on something so petty. It's also worth mentioning that almost all of the top reviews are from people who didn't refund the game. Like I said earlier, the positive reviews for the game predominantly come from people who wanted to like the game, which makes the review score heavily biased, and game journalists are barely considered credible anymore.

It's very early to say whether or not the game has performed well. Going off of the statistics available to us, the numbers aren't exactly impressive for what's been invested into it.

Well, you can only leave a bad review if you own the game, and anyone following development of this napalm fuelled dumpster fire has not bought the game, which is why it's sitting on half as many concurrent players as veilguards release (Dragon Age title sold less than 1.5 million copies almost 2 months after release so it's not looking good.)

I was expecting to the game to be a turbo dumpster fire as is this case with most of these pronoun simulators but they managed to release a completely mid game. Props to them.

In other words, people who actually have played the game. Yeah....I dont go around writing negative reviews on games I have no interest in buying either
