I wonder why people love split fiction or gamers previously didn't mind well written female characters and the diversity was not a token, but a good representation.

I am the type of person that is getting pissed off that 95% of protagonists you see now are female and yet one of my favorite characters of all time is Estelle from Trails in the sky.

Its the "strong and independent" writing that is the issue yeah i don't trust it they aren't sympathetic they are just a ♥♥♥♥♥. Estelle is a spunky tomboy but is still actually treated like a women and allowed to be feminine and show weakness, the main thrust of her story is the relationship she has with a man, the love of her life.

All they actually do now is make them obnoxious, rude, annoying and toxic to the core,
are generally perfect with strong masculine traits too, and often with the added bonus of political hot takes. Forspoken...Star wars,,, pure cringe.

TLDR, you only like women in games, if they are docile, weak or depends on a man??

Gamers in fact the most progressive people. We had LGTBQ+ Women+Black heros in video games and it did not bother us at all.

So sadly they are taking strays. Most gay people I know don't want business to weaponize who they are for profits. They just want a good game, and the freaks who cry about representation in every game should be ignored.

Might have been the case in the beginning where people just enjoyed gaming as escapism and ♥♥♥♥ but it is definitely not true now when that escapism has been taken away, especially noticed this with KCD2, identity politics has radicalised people to be extremists now to the point they refuse to play any games with these things in them.

Once people see a gay character or whatever its immediately "WOKE!" and it shouldn't be like that but it is that's exactly the kind of stuff this divisiveness has brought and it only hurts people like your friends.

Western AAA games? You having a laugh, when was the last time you watched an expo, 2015? Its either a woman or you get a choice.

GoW Ragnarok, AC Mirage, recent years CoD games, RDR2, Spider Man 2, Indiana Jones, Alan Wake 2, Prince of Persia, Star Wars Jedi survivor and fallen order. All form the last few years.

There’s probably much more but I generally don’t Follow AAA gaming.

You do realize that by saying the "ONLY" reason being someones skin color you are COMPLETELY discounting any skills they might have had. If that was the case everything in our world would be a broken pile of crap because it would be built by incompetent people.

As far as a masters degree vs. a BA. It comes down to "does the person have experience in the field, do they interview well, do they seem intelligent, do you feel they are a good fit for the company."

If you ONLY needed a degree to get a good job there wouldn't be a single white person with a college degree that was unemployed. Think it through. You are stopping at the part you agree with and ignoring the rest. I know a lot of people with degrees that are morons compared to people that only graduated high school. A degree is less than 20% of your qualifications.
