Shadows vs Mirage?
Hello,

I have a debate. I don't know witch one to buy for now.
Assassin's Creed Mirage or Shadows? Which one is better?

Thank you,
GrG

Shadows is by far better, Mirage was just a tiny Side Game.

Shadows is 10000000x better than Mirage.
Valhalla is also better than Mirage.
Origins and Odyssey are better than Mirage too.

Mirage is a short story game. I beat it in 22 hours and was done with the game.

Mirage is the better AC game. Shadows may be a better open world game. I only made it 3 hours into Shadows and reinstalled Mirage and AC3, to get a proper Creed fix.
Shadows definitely

Depends what you are looking for.
Mirage was over so quickly and the story so generically forgettable that I have to constantly remind myself that I already played it whenever its name crops up. With Odyssey and Valhalla being so huge (and weird,) it's nice to see a return to grand scale stealth adventure.
Mirage was cool, but as others have said, it's much shorter. You'll get a lot more for your money with Shadows. The only thing that would make me maybe recommend Mirage over Shadows is if you've never played any AC games before, Mirage might be a better entry point.

Mirage looks great and plays well. It is closer to the originals in terms of game play

Shadows looks awesome and is more of a hybrid between the first 3 and the 3 rpg style titles

Mirage was well received and definitely worth a play.
It is on sale on Uconnect

I find it absolutely hilarious that everyone saying the RPG games are better than Mirage simply because the game was short.

Shows you just how much the modern gamer's standards has degraded where they base quality on how many hours of gameplay they got instead of how much FUN they had. It also explains why modern ubislops are filled to the brim with cookie cutter bloats to pad hours of "content".

Maybe try to answer the OP with a less insulting and aggressive tone ?

I will not return to this thread so will not bother to read your reply

Mirage is ok but it's better if you've completed the Valhalla base game. Story hits differently if you haven't seen how Valhalla ends. As others have said, it's a smaller game.

Shadows.
If you like the old formula with very linear gameplay, you spot your targets and go assasinate them, play mirage. it's a really good game for the OG players

I liked Mirage quite a lot, it had a unique setting not often seen in games, and I really appreciated how tight they kept the main story and quests. Some of us who work full time can't always pour 100+ hours into a game. My one complaint about Mirage is the teleporting multi-kills with faux glitch effects and dub-step sound FX.
