please just make another black flag

tired of these assassins creed games that keep coming out man just make a black flag 2 without the assassins part with online open world thats what everybody wants

black flag is the best pirate game out there and was really successful when it came out because there isnt a pirate game like black flag so make another one

and no, dont tell me to go play black flag, because that game is missing the online open world so once you finish the game, its done. And people would like another black flag, a newer version, new story, with online, etc.

and before someone comes to me with skull and bones, please dont. You know exactly whats missing in skull and bones, its the free roaming and all the other activities/stuff that you could do in black flag that you cant do in skull and bones. Thats why skull and bones flopped very hard.

and NO, sea of thieves is too cartoonish and goofy and isnt like black flag so dont come to me with sea of thieves, either.

I just dont understand why there isnt a single pirate game out there that is actually good like black flag but theres tons of other medieval-like games that are really good and open world

and lastly, to clarify, im not trolling or baiting or whatever you wanna call it, this is 100% serious. Im just getting sick of waiting and hoping for another good pirate game to come out when all these assassins creed games or other medieval games come out like every year or so

the pirate topic (black flag for example) has tons of potential and yet, no game creators ever make one. We have enough sword/medieval games. Its time for a good pirate game like black flag but even better this time

yes its skull and bones, but thats not the pirate game everyone asked, thats why it flopped so hard. You can only steer your ship, you cant walk around, you cant fight melee combat, you cant dive underwater, you cant explore islands, nothing. Just pure naval combat which of course sucks. Its just another world of warships

I actually like Rogue more than Black Flag. I liked being an Assassin, but it later on being revealed that you were a Templar and I'd love to have the option to maybe be a Templar or be a baddie. They've floated with the idea of the Assassin's brotherhood not being the definitive good guys in past games... More options with multiple options is a direction I'd like to see them take one instalment in the series.

I didn't read anything but the title so sorry if I missed anything important. I just wanted to say that it's strongly believed that Ubisoft is working on a Black Flag remake and in fact it was to be released in Nov. of this year but with the delay of Shadows it may not come out unitl 2026.

It's a bit of a hearesay that's around for some 5 months or so. But a webpage reported that BF remake will come 2025/26. Then Reddit took over. Then other gaming sites took over. And it is also confirmed that Ubisoft Singapore (the people that make Ubi games with a lot of water in them) are working on undisclosed project since Skull & Bones release.

Essentially there is no source and it is not offical, but it would kinda make sence it could be BF remaster/remake. As far as I'm aware, it's just that tho, conencting the dots, it could be that, but it could just as well be a beach volleyball game.

Black Flag is the best AC game. If you called the shots for Ubisoft they would be bankrolling right now. But nope Ubisoft too dumb to see an easy win.
