Does anyone know how to fix this? my game crashes at this point

Update: Apparently launching Steam as administrator fixed it for me. I would recommend to you guys to have Steam automatically run as administrator until this is fixed.

Try running steam as administrator and then after that launch the game. It worked for me. If it works for you then I highly recommend setting Steam to automatically run as administrator when launching until this is fixed.

I don’t know what’s worse. That there are so many different fixes that work for some but not others or the fact this bug which seemed so small and affected so few people has become this massive thing.

Didnt work,gotta be a Ubisoft issue.i have 15 hrs in just fine and now it crashes at the memory screen without fail. I'm banging my head against the wall trying any fix I can find to play a $90 game cause why wouldnt I want to play at all ubi and have fun🤣.My own fault for giving ubi the benfit of the doubt.

I’m just going to add this here, it worked for me and a day later I’m still playing happily and have restarted multiple times - no issues.

Remove your saves, I personally just removed everything from the steam folder but since I also ran the ubi+ version deleted those files too.

Disable internet, and start up game. Get a few ‘errors’ like can’t sync achievements and that’s all fine they can all be skipped past just by clicking ok.

Game starts with the quite cool creed logo trailer and then game runs you through that intro and prologue.

I personally didn’t stop the game until I couldn’t my first manual save. Quit to desktop and turned internet back on. Restart game and it’s all good. Now a day later and I can still play and no issues.

Can’t say this will work for everyone but several people have done this way and it’s been ok for them.
