killing some random dude in like 50 katana hits doesnt make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense
this immediately turned me down, when playing with naoe every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ armored enemy feels like a miniboss, is this always gonna be like that? because it feels so lame, it seems like naoe has huge damage nerf on anything except hidden blade assasination lol

Ayup, sit through 2 hours of cutscenes so you can see the most floaty combat of the year.
Dudes survive over a dozen hits from a sword, but 1 little belly stab instant RIPs them.

I mean.... she's an ASSASSIN. I kind of expect an assassin to be better at killing people when she's assassinating and not in a straight fight. That being said, a blade in the neck should be lethal even if it's not a surprise attack, but whatever.

yes she is a shinobi but in real life a shinobi also kills as fast as a samurai does, they are already punishing you with the extremely low hp, whats up with the absurd overall damage nerf, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dude threw me a rock or something insta killed me ffs

that her whole entire concept . you sneak around and assainate people and dont take combat head on . while Yuska does head on combat .

because its ASSASSIN creed game !
the game is forcing you to fight from the shadows, kill people, hide their bodies and never be seen. if you go straight forward to their face, you will die.
this is how AC and similar games always worked. try to run in a HITMAN game and see what happens.

yes, mirage/odyssey/valhalla were all ac games too, you could effectively fight people close to your level and kill them in 4-5 hits without ever needing assasination, this ♥♥♥♥ feels so absurd and tedious

They don't throw rocks in this game. You've been playing too much Bannerlord.

I'm upgrading all of the tools. First one you get is smoke.

Your enemies aren't supposed to see you with Naoe. At worst, you should be doing hit and runs.

One of the first things that I did with Naoe was clear that loot ship off the nearby coast. On the hardest settings. All I had was entry level gear and smoke bombs.

It wasn't easy. I died a couple of times, but if you are patient, and sneaky, it can be done.

Gamers are impatient. That's why they always blame the developers when they are killed in a video game. They act like they are the smartest people on the planet.

Some of them actually believe it.

Then you wouldn't have enjoyed playing the series around its inception. She handles a whole hell of a lot like the old school assassin protagonists. What you are experiencing is good old power trip withdrawal. I prescribe getting good, or going with easy mode. Frankly it isn't that much more challenging, and the challenge itself isn't cheap.

Every encounter you see makes the actual Samurai appear pitifully slow, clumsy and unskilled in combat. Especially the lager guys similar to Yasuke, they fight in slow motion and they all generally fight like inexperienced rookies... Once you see it you can't stop noticing it.

dude you could literally chain kill 15 people in old ac games without effort, here its soulslike style but you have no damage ffs, it doesnt matter anymore i did refund the game, its not my cup of tea, didnt like the combat flow

Dude literally played the first Assassins Creed at launch on an Xbox 360. Chaining only came out later, and over time got worse. As for comparing it to Dark Souls those games are about rote memorization. This games enemies appear to be quite random.

With that being said I do have a recommendation. Have you ever tried the Prototype games? I don't see them in your games library. They are all about chaining, and using crowd control. You'll probably really like them.
