If you knew the first thing about Assassin's Creed you would know that you literally cannot go on a rampage killing locals, the game disconnects you if you do that, now stop pretending you care about asian culture/people as well because this only became such a huge issue for you now that it's a game with a black protagonist.

i dont think it will sell as much as Ghost of tsuchima, that game was a hit since the first trailer was dropped and sold even more when it was released on pc

this game was a failiure and plagued with drama since the first teaser was showned, and lot of people are not sure about how this game will turnout do to thedrama and them distortin history to fit a black character as a samurai ... i know one thing ... this game wont sell well in japan cuz they are pissed about it and pretty mad at ubisoft for the disrespect

i only feel bad for the devs that neeed to work on this project while taking all the ♥♥♥♥ that other people should be taking

i woulnd buy it even if it was a japanese character as a samurai cuz i know ubi and the path they will take with this game' im honestly sicc of the same ♥♥♥♥ over and over again and i'm not buying anymore of their games... i'm just here for the drama and to watch the circus on fire lol

i will recomend to you to avoid this game. but if you really for some reason want to play this game wait for the actuall reviews a week alter release or watch MkIceandFire on YT and make your own opinion

It will either be a massive hit or a flop. There's no in between. At least Ubi has finally learned UPlay exclusivity is bad. Drop Denuvo too and I'm sold.

I doubt it can top Valhalla's launch sales because it isn't being released before the holiday season. Arguably a better game is already out on PC with Ghost of Tsushima. What hype this game did have last year has been over shadowed by the announcement of Ghost of Yōtei, plus the endless bad press surrounding the development of AC Shadows.

It will sell about as much as anyone would expect an Assassin's Creed game to sell, I just hope when this happens, culture war neckbeards will finally shut up and realize they never really had any power to decide what sells and what doesn't. Hell, it should have been obvious when they made Black Myth Wukong into the centerpiece of all this stupidity and at the end of the day over 90% of that game's sales came from China, or when they hyped up Stellar Blade as the product the real gamers™ actually want and that game ended up being the lowest selling PS5 exclusive.

Excellent point. For Origins did way better than expected. It revived series to masses.
It had stagnated.

Also on culture war nerds, these people never played AC3. They otherwise would have lost their minds..

I learnt with Silent Hill 2 Remake reveal trailer and subsequent threads here calling it woke and will flop. Only for it to be opposite, a lot of these reactionaries are fake fans. Never buying.

Dude, Ubisoft is new 2016-2020 EA.
Game will fail, not because Yasuke, it will fail because people are tired of same gameplay, same mechanics same world design. Ubisoft using same formula for 10 years now, plus not to mention intentional cutting of content to sell you season passes for 50e with some crap cosmetics and 2-3 missions.
People are tired of that crap.
This game wont come even close to Valhalla, the best they can expect is Unity and that game sold around 10m.
I still expect the game to sale less then that,

You're aware that the EA sports games are still popping up among the best selling games of the year regardless of their quality or lack thereof, right?
