I think Shadows will sell over 13 million copies, as much as Ghost of Tsushima.

GameRant posted today that Ubisoft will be closing Ubisoft Leamington permanently, while cutting staff at Ubisoft Dusseldof, Ubisoft Stockholm, and Ubisoft Reflection. Layoffs, and closures will affect 185 employees, and the company said it will be shutting down XDefiant servers on June 3rd. Ubisoft said the move is part of ongoing efforts to prioritize projects and reduce costs. Looks like they need to sell a lot to save the sinking ship.

Yeah the current situation for Ubisoft its not great.

Here Hoping its sold for dedicated company such as Sucker Punch they own the Ghost of tsushima IP.

The AC IP itself is very valuable for Ubi and increase its price by a large margine so they won't sell the Ip because it will lower company's price by ALOT and lower interrest rates immensly.

they have the Key to fix the sinking ship, but it feels like they don't want to use it.

Lmao the average gamer absolutely despise ubisoft, they are on the verge of bankruptcy for a reason, if AC shadow flop it's literally over, they will get bought off probably by tencent

The target market of this game is people who take screenshots of their PC by using their phone camera.

Those people do exist so it will sell a few million copies.

Not enough to save this company though. It's all going to come crashing down. Leaving the target market coping and seething.

I've been gaming since the early 80s....and I'm the type of gamer who has played many genres on PC and consoles....I didn't play the old AC games before origins but I did play mirage.. so I understand the purest perspective alittle ...I also understand the woke controversy. Personally those aren't enough to keep me away from a new AC game set in Japan...that will even have base building... There aren't really any (new) games that appeal to me on the horizon so I've been playing all the AC games since origins. They are solid action stealth rpgs in their own right with massive detailed immersive worlds ....So yes I will be buying and jumping Into AC Shadows while I wait for better games to release throughout the course of the year. I tend to be critical of the Industry and I for one pay attention to games that add new mechanics and systems, especially AI...like persistent AI like the original stalker series...AC ain't it but AC franchise like others have mentioned and Ubisoft games in general are kinda like a fast food of open world games...I want caviar but in its absence I'm still hungry in general and I need food ...looking forward to 100% Shadows and the previous several AC games...😎

Monster Hunter Wilds was being attacked as woke 🤣.

Game has become CAPCOM best seller ever, now the antiwoke folks changed tune and said it was never woke. Even though reciepts are there.

Some like EndymionTV attacking other antiwokers for the game selling well and blaming them for not being united to kill game perfomance🤣.

its not really the dev team who is responsible for picking the music for trailers
the development team is actually the ones who did the good job here developing creating and implementing everything

Creative Producer or Creative Manager in the marketing category is responsible for making and approving such stuff

in the end we can always count on talented people making mods to remove such things
Or you could remove the music interely

i remember playing Fallout NV and hating on a very specific music called johnny guittar
IMO it ruined the mood every single time for me so you got that
but often the music present in the trailers are nor present in the game so we will see

and i agree i dont think Yasuke is enought to drive alot of people from what i heard they have a pretty goiod reason for him being there in the prolog wich its not being showed
