Price for AC Shadows ?
I just saw the price for Star Wars Outlaws and I'm in shock. Like, wow, $110 for the Gold Edition? That's really a joke. It’s probably such a high price because of the licensing. What will the prices be for Shadows? If the pricing policy is exactly the same, I’ll probably get the standard edition for the first time.

Standard Edition > $69.99
Gold Edition > $109.99
Ultimate Edition > $129.99

The above price was when they first opened pre-order.

PS: Since the game was delayed and had some of its editions revamped, they may have changed the price of their editions. So I can't say if they will keep the same price or change the price.

UBISoft is pretty consistent with their pricing. Just buy the standard edition, or subscribe to UBISoft Premium+ for a month and play it that way (its $18).

Nice try. This is the best option for them, but not for me.

plz look at Ubisoft stock price right now.

they're in the RED that mean they ll need a lot of money to help their company before bankrupt.

and meybe this is their LAST CHANCE of them too.
Bro doesn't realize that stock price does not reflect their amount of Capita lmao.

just wait for a year or so after it releases and get it at a deep discount (probably will be around 20 bucks as mirage has been lately)
only reason to get a game at release is if you are super stoked to play it right away, and you dont care to pay the extra to do so. there are so many games, and 90% of steam users have a backlog of games they havent even played yet.
for those that hate on pricing of games, not buying anything at all and eating out of the mcdonalds dumpster is a viable alternative. you will often find good food in mcdonalds dumpster, for free. they sometimes call the cops if they catch you in there tho.

Setting a high starting price for a new game when they are released make it look good when there is a sale in percentage (20% or even down to 50% or 80%).

This method to make potential buyers think that they make a good deal isn't isolated to UBISOFT or games, you can see that in every shop from electronics to groceries, if you look how some items are priced and compare it to when there is sale. Black Friday is a good example how this have been used and abused where initial price is often claimed to be higher then normal all to make it look like there is big difference compared to normal price where percentages can look large, but in reality boils down to not so much in real money paid.

As already suggested UBISOFT and other channels offer subscription where one can try out which version that will fit with what one are willing to pay for get that package or if standard version will be enough (or even not purchase that game at all).

It is also almost always better to wait a year (or more) after release as most bugs should have been detected and fixed and it will be easier to find guides and wiki that explains what to do and how to do for most games when there have gone some time.
