First time hearing about this...
First we have Denuvo, which in fairness does stop piracy. But it also lowers performance, and should only really be used for games which are already known to be in very high demand. I don't know if this one qualifies. But OK.
Then we have the Ubisoft account. And we all know how everyone loves needing to use that. At least it's not as bad as SONY's account stuff... maybe.
And the cherry on the slop sandwich: they want to monitor your RAM so that they're sure you won't be using cheats? The reason for this is obviously because they want to protect the micro-transactions in the game from cheaters.
So there you go. A 1-2-3 punch combo which would make a game undesirable to many a gamer to begin with. And that's not even taking into account the Yasuke controversy.
Is Ubisoft trying to die?
Bet they want to sell ingame currency for real money or something, so cheat engine is a big no.
but I will not buy a game which is monitoring my RAM
Just look at Bethesda with elder scrolls and fallout; its the modding community that keeps the games alive. Getting rid of that is just a bad idea.
And its a singleplayer game, who gives a **** if someone wants to cheat?
I just don't have any clue how ubisoft could make something as good as origins and odyssey but now they are incompetent at basically everything its truly inspiring
