Denuvo and Ubisoft account required!
Why on earth the PC port had to be incorporated with Denuvo as well as Ubisoft account required?

What a crazy company. What do they think their customers are?
Getting game banned on a singleplayer game will be crazy

Ubisoft has been doing this for quite a few years.

Ik Crew 2 and Motorfest have AC, Far Cry 6, I think the Avatar game might've had it before but not sure and something else I forgot about. Oh yeah I think Mirage has it too.

Denuvo, Ubisoft account and agreeing to them monitoring your RAM
I am honestly impressed by how much one company can screw itself over.

First we have Denuvo, which in fairness does stop piracy. But it also lowers performance, and should only really be used for games which are already known to be in very high demand. I don't know if this one qualifies. But OK.

Then we have the Ubisoft account. And we all know how everyone loves needing to use that. At least it's not as bad as SONY's account stuff... maybe.

And the cherry on the slop sandwich: they want to monitor your RAM so that they're sure you won't be using cheats? The reason for this is obviously because they want to protect the micro-transactions in the game from cheaters.

So there you go. A 1-2-3 punch combo which would make a game undesirable to many a gamer to begin with. And that's not even taking into account the Yasuke controversy.

Is Ubisoft trying to die?

I read the EULA too. Monitoring your RAM is crazy for a SINGLE PLAYER game. Like who cares about cheats in a single player game? As a game dev in training (i only want to make single player games), this is crazy to me. If people find ways to cheat in my game, cool, more power too ya, send me a video of you breaking the game lol

Ah, but Regrets1015, they DO care about cheats in a single player games because those cheats let players bypass their micro-transactions. That's all there is to it. They don't want you to cheat and get gold, they want you to buy gold with real money, for example/

Lol. There is no reason to prevent people from cheating or modding in a single player game other than to be toxic with your customers. Look at Bethesda games living for decades solely thanks to modding capabilities.

Bet they want to sell ingame currency for real money or something, so cheat engine is a big no.

I will work on a bypass to ignore their ♥♥♥♥, I will show this company absolutely 0 mercy., One thing I don't deal with is companies restricting what people do with their single player game buys for $70

100% this game will crash with new windows update and have beyond 1000 bugs and glitches, will crash a lot and be unplayable with missing features that should be in the game from the start. And still have people defending it with theyr souls!

Because they don't want fans to keep their games alive?
Just look at Bethesda with elder scrolls and fallout; its the modding community that keeps the games alive. Getting rid of that is just a bad idea.
And its a singleplayer game, who gives a **** if someone wants to cheat?
Remember ubisoft is playing 5d chess They want to hit a staggering 1 dollar per share and if they keep at it ubisoft can do it. To the bottom we shall go is ubisoft's new slogan.

I just don't have any clue how ubisoft could make something as good as origins and odyssey but now they are incompetent at basically everything its truly inspiring
