Also you got the GFWL set up and login?
I'm now backing up my Documents folder (holds many save game folders) hourly vs daily.
Back when Batman: Arkham Asylum still used GFWL (before it was removed), there were complaints of lost or corrupted saves. See here for example: http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=96261
You could also use a program like GameSave Manager to automate backing up your save from TRON Evolution and many other games.

Regardless, XLiveLess doesn't eliminate the need for GFWL, it just removes the requirement of being online for it to work (and therefore disables Multiplayer in the process).
This thread is really old, so I'm not sure if CJake will respond. But I imagine by &*#$# he meant GFWL corrupted his saved game and that it's a garbage program.
Oh wow...you're right....I just necro'd a 6 year old topic.....lol Oh well, the topic related to my current issue so there was no way going around it anyways.....heh...
As for that program you recommended, well I tried it out to see what it was like, since like some games dont keep backup copies in case of corruption like this and it seems to stall when scanning minecraft save files....
GameSave Manager can take a long time to process save files that have a large number of files or are large in size. There's a forum topic about it here, and an explanation on how you can skip scanning saves for a certain game: https://forum.gamesave-manager.com/viewtopic.php?t=143
There were other reasons too....like at one point I didn't have internet to save which apparently some games, like this one, requires an online account and not a local account to save...or so I've read...so just in case I don't have internet in future and wanted to replay a game using an old save file....

Do you use this program yourself? To do your periodic copies and backups?
