Default 747 bugged

Something happened to my install that made the default Boeing 747-400 unflyable. It's now underpowered, even AI traffic will crash the airplane when trying to take off. Uninstalling and reinstalling from the Steam client has had no effect, I have not seen other aircraft types affected. Is this a known issue? Could one of my .air or .cfg files have gone bad somehow?

I'd be grateful for any input, this has actually made me walk away from the game a couple times in the last couple of years. I'm just that kind of stubborn about asking for help.

Fixed, it was an aircraft.cfg file issue. A couple of values must have gotten replaced with something bad. I ended up replacing a bunch of data in that file with data from a file on Fly Away Simulation that had the default values. Title is FSX Boeing 747-400 Complete Package
