When the ball did not touch the ground YOUR OUT!
Yes often my pitcher catch the ball and the ball did no touch the ground but still got to throw the ball to the first base, also the ball hit the wall my player catch it, the ball did not touch the ground and did not count as a out

A ball hitting the wall is considered the same as hitting the ground. The player did not catch it direct from the bat so it is not a catch. My biggest gripe with this game are those balls right on the boundary. You can never tell whether you need to jump or not in order to successfully catch the ball.

As for pitcher catches - they are most likely ground balls that bounce right in front of the batter so you cannot 'see' the bounce. Keep an ear out for the umpire who will call the ball 'fair'.
