My guess is the licensing was so complicated/expensive that they didn't think the investment into a PC port was worth it. Their core audience are kids with consoles.
Hacking.. as in wat like spawning in all the characters??
They could just port it to pc like lego city undercover… ex when the switch version didnt have co op but they ported the co op in city to pc and other consoles, as for modding…. They could just have the standard 3 plus a bonus one or have the best of both worlds where all characters are free if they ever do a lego dimensions 2
One day, I hope TT chooses to revive LEGO Dimensions by making a version without the toy pad and it's mechanics, and making all of the characters unlockable with in-game money. If they managed to rework the game in the right way, I think it could sell a lot of copies. I'd buy it on day 1, no question!
Exactly”!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻they shouldve made a version where you explore a hub and unlock the characters for free, but seeing how much lego has changed …making its newer games more grindy i would prefer they went back to the easier days of dont spend 30 plus hours on a open world only to backtrack, while i did like the batman hub world in dimensions, i wouldve preferred more free play lvls or a create your own lvl like lego indy 2👍🏻 fingers crossed we hear more
