Millions of dollars
So let me get this straight:
According to Steam SD sold between 500,000 and 1,000000 copies for 15$ !
Steam takes 30%.
So they got 5-10 million dollars (!!) from us to make this game.

And this is what you get for that money?!
A simplistic game (that had TONS of potential), that's stuck in EA for over 3 years with almost no development? Are you kidding me?

Please explain.

Oh btw:

Owners: 500,000 .. 1,000,000
Peak concurrent players yesterday: 539

That's 0.1% ...I think that says it all.

I don't care if they made millions of $ and drink margarita by the pool, so what!
As long they develop the game neither you or I have any rights to decide what they spend their money on, we bought in on an early access game not a share in their company!

Looking back in your post history on Steam then it's nothing but lies, hate and negativity towards early access games, it kinda reminds me of kids who throws themselves screaming on the floor in a shop when they are denied some candy... If you can't handle early access games then stop buying them!

Oh and btw what happened to:

Oh no...their biggest fanboy is once again shilling hard.
"As long they develop the game" - you know what the word 'development' means right?
Well, they are NOT. Stop shilling this broken game so hard in every freaking post.
Your blind loyality is sickening.

Where did all the money go? Cos it didn't go into development, that's for sure.

Valve enables us to block users now, just an informtional message.

There's something wrong with the demeanor of gamers these days. I've witness people complaining that a $15 game is dull after spending some 50+ hours playing it. Meanwhile some AAA $60 games become boring in half that time, but as frillen said if you don't like early access don't buy the games then.

*lol* Yes I know what development means, I have a past as a software developer working for both big and small companies, but you quite clearly don't know, and the only sickening thing here is your pathetic attempts to spread hate and lies because you didn't get exactly what you wanted and when you want it!

OP is right. Most EA games since the same period with SD were released as full versions, with lots of content. Look at The Forest and Subnautica. Can you actually believe back then i chose to support Stranded Deep ,instead of the amazing game Subnautica?
I bought the game back in 2015 and i kept waiting for the development to take off and get this game where it belongs.Didn't happen. Lots of potential wasted.

I learned one thing though, never buy EA again.Never pay for someone that "pretends" to work. They started with the excuse of a "small team" ,but after a few months they already sold so many copies that they made a few MILLIONS.They still went with the same "small team" excuse. One more thing, i am not part of those guys with the "PLZZ CO-OP" or "GAEM IS BAD PLZ FIX OCEAN LOOK BAD OMFG".

I am happy and proud these devs were successful, good for them!

Welp.

He'll be back tomorrow. We don't allow people to treat each other with disrespect here. He can dislike the game or have any opinion of what should or should not have been prioritized, but he still has to follow the same rules as everyone else.

Hell I even left the offending post in plain sight so that I shouldn't have to explain this. Not his first warning either.

Gamer Logic: has problem with teams that make money, owns all of the DLC for free-to-play game. :pug:

its not about the dev making money, its about the dev not stepping up after the success
SynapticBoomstick Sep 16, 2018 @ 7:20pm
Maybe they've been stepping up recently after the success because now they can afford to work on the game full-time? :steamfacepalm:
