No, I meant I shot with 'all of my 10 arrows'. (Sarcasm)
I didn't kill it, I just got a reaction from the meg. It was at a carcass, I saw it when I went to look for a mission tower.
So, I panicked and went back to my island (the raft has a motor), then I when I looked back it was behind the raft ha ha
The yellow/orange square things that show up near a boss hung around the Island as well, in the morning (in game) they were gone and when I went back with the raft, the meg was there again at the carcass.
Which is why I asked, what happened with the Mission towers, I didn't find any, just the boss.
(and btw, please refrain from being a tit if you misunderstand a post. Just ask for clarification instead or something, sheesh.)
That explains what happened.
I felt brave enough to finally go check out how long it would take to reach a tower from my main island, but didn't see them anymore. Just came across the meg and I was so not prepared ha ha!
I looked back at the video (as I recorded it) and I can't tell if the shark that popped up behind my raft (whilst fleeing) is the meg or a tiger shark.
I hadn't seen any sharks for a week so imagine my surprise ^_^
Thank you for your reply!
(I have yet to see that sunken battleship, it has taken me quite some hours before becoming braver and braver tbh)
Yeah, same. I was finally brave enough haha
So how do you start a mission now? Squiddy's Bouy is a tiny thing to look for in the vast ocean.
More to the point....with no seafort..how will I park my big ass raft?
I can't answer the parking bit, but I just came across the meg when looking for the towers. I used to see them on the horizon and I went looking... alas.
The bosses are still there though, you just have to look for them I guess. I am going to try the meg later and reccord my nervous ass doing so.
It's all doable even without the forts, Bit hard, but can still be done. The problem is....Ocean currents. You leave your raft floating in deep water to dive....when you surface, it's 100 meters away.
Wouldn't that be fun when you're being chased by a giant sea creature?
That's why sea forts are important, You can lodge the raft on its foundations and park it there. Providing you a stable safe zone. Until the Big uglies drag you down to deep water anyway. I wonder how it can be done now?
I have an Idea, but pretty sure I'm not gonna like it.
Good luck Meg hunting. ^^
He's not very big ... but he's kinda mean haha
Speaking of which, I still have to find that big sea mammal.
Diving is fun. The underwater graphics and sounds of this game is very realistic. It's the closest thing I can experience until my next vacation. Just be mindful of sharks :) or craft and use a shark repellant. Peaceful diving for 10 irl min or so.
@Sis010 - Go Cod and Bass Spear Fishing it's how you train yourself to get over the fear of the deep sea. First hunt all the tigers and whites in a nearby Island (or yours...if you did not use any custom maps) by building a second base and hunting docks. Once sharks are clear, peaceful diving is available. Seems like sharks don't respawn, but they can be pulled to an "empty" zone, if they followed you on your way via raft.
