What is the best Sniper Elite to buy?

I only want to buy one Sniper Elite, which one is the best one to buy?

V2 is really good to begin with. I think its better than V3.

Bought them all when they were first released. The first Sniper Elite was really special (at that time) But since , I'd say 4 is definately the best.

If you want less jank and an overall better experience from a gameplay and mechanics standpoint 4 is the one to get, going backward in the series it becomes less and less refined.

SE4 is the most refined, has the most content and plays the best. V2 has the purest sniper experience, but it's graphics are showing their age and there's relatively little to do. I finished the whole thing in 4 hours - some missions in SE4 are pushing 2 hours each.
