Is Overwatch and Railyard just only for co-op?

actually i wish there was a way to play it solo
there are 3 collectables achievements that cant be unlocked playing solo because the items can only be found in the 2 co-op missions

all the maps you can play co op, but the two overwatch missions are for only two players, and you both have diferent rolls, one is the sniper, one is the op, and you both have things to do, kill , collect and still having to work as one, those maps are rail yard and compound,

It completely sucks that three of the achievements (to do with collecting sniper reports, stone eagles etc.) can only be unlocked by completing the Overwatch missions. I went through the main campaign hunting all of them down, which was a total waste of time as I can't get them unlocked because I can never get anyone to do the Overwatch missions. Sort it out Rebellion - either let us play the Overwatch missions solo, or change the requirements for the achievements.

i agree with this 100%
if you want to have co-op or Multi-Player achievements thats fine but the achievo should be something that needs two players(or more) to accomplish
simply collecting reports or shooting stone eagles does not need two players and should have been left to the solo missions to accomplish

actually this is my only gripe with the game which i think is great

Yeah in an ostensibly single-player game, I really resent not being able to even SEE these maps if I don't have someone I trust to play with. I don't do multiplayer pub and I don't have any personal friends with the game. Heck Portal 2 did this too and I still haven't actually seen most of the 2-player maps there. :/

yes only for coop; railyard and compound. And I dont really like this overwatch mode. Two player never meet each other and it doesnt make sense that sniper cant tag things for the operative. The mode restricts couple of things you can do in normal campaign coop and I dont like it. I wish they would have put more story campaigns rather than this mode. 8 missions is not cool. SE2 had 11 missions but since SE3, they decided to make us charge DLCs to play the rest of them. cuz SE3 had also 8 missions only, plus 3 dlc missions, equals to 11 anyway. And SE4 doing the same. I dont like it.

In the next patch. I think Overwatch and Railyard needs a solo mode. It hard to find anyone to play co-op.
