Cursor constantly displays the loading icon.

I'm on windows 8. The game runs great, but when I use the controller, the mouse cursor never disappears from the screen, and in fact seems to be constantly stuck in the 'loading' animation, i.e. rather than looking like a cursor it looks like a little spinning circle. I usually stick it in the bottom corner but it's still irritating.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

They really need to fix this in the next patch.
A good workaround would be to install a program that hides your mouse cursor.
Try googling AutoHide Mouse Cursor.

I have the same problem, and an even worse problem, thew game changes from full screen to windowed mode every 10 minutes , very annoying

I found that if you briefly use the mouse to right-click to aim, then start using the controller again, the cursor disappears for a few minutes. Hardly ideal, but there you go.

Pause it, click the mouse, move the control stick on the controller, unpause it, proceed as if nothing happened.

Unless it's doing the windowed/fullscreen thing, in which case get it back in fullscreen then do the other stuff and the mouse icon disappears.

Used an empty .cur for busy pointer and no more issues! not a fix but more of a bypass.

I know this is late, but I've been having this problem for a long time too until now. if you switch the game from Fullscreen to Borderless, you won't have the problem anymore. Or you shouldn't, at least.

I'm having the same problem here in 2018, AND the borderless option does nothing. This really should have been fixed ages ago.

Just got this together with PP and the problem persists. Playing on borderless as well. It's distracting enough, but I don't think Konami will bother to fix this because it's Konami.

Can anyone tell me if PP has the same problem?

The same problem does exist in Dark Souls (Prepare 2 Die Edition).
U can use tools like AutoHideMouseCursor 2 fix it.
