App Permissions Blocking Game Launch

Anybody else encountered this message? How do I get around this?

"Failed to start this process for this game : "An Application Control policy has blocked this file." (0x11C7)"

Hey! Seems like it might be related to Windows Smart App Control. You can try to disable it and see if it worked. Verify integrity of game files might do the trick as well, but I would personally suggest to check your windows settings first. Let me know if this helped.

I've been playing this game for several days and all of a sudden just got this error.

You can try to switch to public-branch (in steam game settings [betas]) or reinstall. This is a Windows new issue, the game build is the same as it was. I will try to find a solution.
